The five Dieties, Nymphos, Apherynus, Masotic, Ventrex and Subserva, are the dedications that define your path. Each act within the Engine feeds them. As you cultivate them, the chambers respond: new doors unlock, trials intensify and resonances amplify. The following section explains what each Diety values and how showing devotion to them influences your journey through the Engine.

The Five Dieties

Investing in Dieties shapes how the Engine responds:

• Nymphos: Raw sexual desire and indulgence. Boosts XP from Expression and Devotion rituals; increases the pleasure component of mixed scenes.
• Apherynus: Learning and implementing sexual rituals to manifest intentions. Enhances XP from ritual magic and grants arcane progression.
• Masotic: An exploration of pain and suffering. Increases XP from intense trials; reduces diminishing returns on repeated ordeals.
• Ventrex: Focus on discovery and exploration of new experiences. Provides bonuses to first‑time acts and multiplies first‑time rewards.
• Subserva: Pure submission and service. Grants extra XP in Service and Devotion rituals; lowers the threshold for High Protocol scenes while pleasing the Mistress becomes your priority.

Dedication Effects on Growth

As you level, you gain dedication points to allocate. Investing in a Dieties amplifies rewards related to their domain. Some quests require minimum levels in secondary dedications. Choosing where to invest guides your narrative and determines which doors the Mistress will open next.
